I have a passion for design thinking and innovation, continuously serving teams with research, insights, visions, strategies and creative solutions; ultimately improving the lives of people and business.Currently at Teledyne Flir, I lead customer and user centric innovation projects, including research, strategic foresight, vision framing, strategy development and design fiction. I started my design career in 1999 by co-founding Peekaboo Design, to explore the convergence of digital and physical. My work included digital pens, check-in systems, medical equipments, and a brain controlled game. In parallel I also worked as researcher and designer at the Interactive Institute, exploring among other things future living and the emotional aspects of human communication.Merging with Veryday in 2004, I built and lead the interaction design team and co-lead Veryday's UX transformation and growth until 2016 when Veryday merged with McKinsey & Co. At McKinsey Design I led inclusive teams, and worked hands-on in close collaboration with clients, to create innovative and technology driven solutions for digital and physical products/services.Besides serving clients and developing the design practice, I was also involved in hiring and coaching our people to grow as exceptional individuals and strong team contributors. My experience includes areas like; MOBILITY (e.g. automotive, trucks, charging infrastructures, logistics, shared mobility), ADVANCED INDUSTRIES (e.g. climate control, air traffic management, predictive maintenance), CONSUMER PRODUCTS (e.g. streaming media, home appliances, banking, retail), CONNECTED HEALTH (e.g. diabetes management, astma analysis, injection devices, clinical trial digitalization, and treatment journey development).
