I am a master's student in industrial biotechnology at TUM and a master thesis researcher at MIT, where I conduct cutting-edge research on the sustainable production of WHO essential drugs from bio-based sources. My thesis focuses on the study of active pharmaceutical ingredients for the industrial crystallization process, which has the potential to reduce the environmental impact and improve the quality of life-saving medicines.Before joining MIT, I worked as a technical projects assistant at The North British Distillery Company Ltd., one of the largest grain whisky producers in Scotland. There, I applied my project management and engineering skills to support the design, implementation, and optimization of various distillation and fermentation projects, resulting in improved efficiency, safety, and profitability. I also gained valuable experience in working with a diverse and multidisciplinary team of experts, suppliers, and contractors. My core competencies include chemical engineering, industrial biotechnology, project engineering, and project management. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to solve real-world problems and create positive social and environmental impact. My goal is to pursue a career in the biopharmaceutical industry, where I can contribute to the development and delivery of innovative and affordable therapies for global health challenges.
