I feel fortunate enough to say I cut my teeth in the safely arena at the heels of the master (E.I. DuPont) and I have continued to foster and grow that knowledge. I am an authorized OSHA outreach trainer as well as a Certified CPR Trainer. My strengths are training and leadership. I currently serve as the safety/training director for Engineered Systems, Inc. located in Duncan, SC. I have worked in both construction and general industry I have served as disaster captain for the American Red Cross and was part of the lead team during the 911 crisis. I have been nominated twice for the national Clara Barton National Award, to recognize my achievements while serving as Disaster Captain. I have spent three years serving on the board of directors for the local chapter of the American Red Cross. My affiliations include the AMA, ADA, ARC, OSHA, ASME, ANSI and NFPAWhen I am not working I am an Avid, Passionate supporter of Miracle Hill Ministries. I founded a project called Christmas on Miracle Hill in December of 1993. This project raises money throughout the community to provide a special Christmas for children in crisis situations. I also was instrumental in helping to fund and build a playground at the Children Home located in Pickens, SC
