Responsible for the planning and management the State Capitol real property portfolio of historic buildings that house the State Legislature and statewide elected officials. Develop and implement long-range facility and capital plans to optimize the State's investment in and use of a portfolio valued at over 400 million dollars.

As the leader of a strategic transformational project:• Led a six-month change project to develop an action plan to improve the agency’s facilities and capital programs. • Secured Fish & Wildlife Commission’s approval of the plan and submitted plan to the Legislature and Governor’s budget office by legislative deadline. • Designed an action plan with a comprehensive and systematic approach to re-invest in workforce capability and capacity, establish clear expectations and use of industry business practices and technology.

• Facilitated the development and monitoring of department’s strategic plan. • Developed and implemented an integrated management approach that linked strategic planning, budget development and performance monitoring. • Led the department’s quality assessments. • In-house consultant on facility policy issues and special projects.

As member of agency’s Executive Management Team. • Develop and implement strategic plans and policies. • Lead and direct the overall management of 5 million square feet of public facilities, located in six counties with biennial operating revenue of over $90 million and capital budget of $60 million. • Responsible for facilities planning and policy, asset management and capital programs for office, parking, historic and park facilities. • Develop and lead inter-agency and inter-governmental strategic initiatives; master planning, historic preservation, real property portfolio management and enterprise business and funding model. • Direct program and budget staff in the preparation of division operating budgets, business plans and agency capital budget. • Interact with Legislators and statewide elected officials including briefings and formal presentations.
