Responsible for evaluation and selection of merchandise for the SkyMall catalog and web site. Played key role in development and management of small, independent vendors, manufacturers, and major catalog accounts such as Hammacher Schlemmer, Frontgate, Improvements, Solutions and Design Toscano. Drove expansion of key categories utilizing historical data, current and future trend analysis. Determined projected revenue generation, and made balanced risk decisions based on business objectives and commercial viability of new products and categories. Evaluated, selected, and presented merchandise on a regular basis to management and team members with appropriate supporting data to allow for efficient decision making. Established and/or maintained positive vendor relationships. Analyzed assortment productivity on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Translated results into appropriate go forward plans of action. Negotiated appropriate pricing structures to meet company sales and margin expectations. Identified and created profitable multi-channel strategies that included, margin concessions, cooperative funds, DFI’s, MFR’s, and other allowances that supported both margin and operational efficiency. Worked in concert with clients and other departments in the gathering of documents and creative assets to meet quarterly catalog deadlines. Worked closely with Marketing to align and integrate product assortments into the various initiatives (i.e.; eCommerce, email, social media, call center, online features and affiliate marketing).

Managed print production process related to pricing, scheduling, pre-press, printing and binding of all SkyMall, Inc. catalogs. Developed and managed the evolving production and press schedules for multiple catalog versions and other catalog products, direct mail and marketing support material. Acted as Project Manager for all collateral and marketing support projects to include needs analysis, determining job specifications, estimating, coordinated the flow of creative materials from catalog vendors through the internal and airline approval process and to the printer (traffic management). Developed the print specifications packet and communicated with vendors regarding their materials. Worked directly with airlines on the catalog approval process and ad submissions. Worked with internal departments to ensure that all expectations and timelines were met.
