I function as the building representative working with meeting planners of associations, corporate meetings, and food and beverage events. This includes the coordination of logistics with meeting planners and their vendors in the pre-planning process, translating requests to internal work orders covering room set-ups and turns, cleaning, engineering requests, security needs, and staff scheduling. I also ensure building policies, safety regulations, and fire codes are properly communicated. On-site, I serve as the point of contact for building operations and once events are concluded, I work with the accounting team on billing and final event invoices.As a Convention Services Manager, I served as a resource to San Diego Convention Center Corporation clients as they plan affiliated events outside of the Convention Center facility by providing information on San Diego, its activities, attractions and available resources.
