The Safe America Foundation is today's 'voice of safety,' executing projects and communications campaigns on emerging issues in health and safety. Safe America has also grown a 501c-3 called 'WorldSafe,' focusing on global response to disasters and pandemics like COVID-19.Since the mid-1990s, Safe America has developed practical safety and preparedness programs for businesses and communities. These include safety product distribution, national youth programming, international travel security, and advocating of volunteer screening for nonprofit organizations (to avoid predatory activities by adults). Mr. Pagano's numerous accomplishments include raising over $30 million for injury prevention initiatives that have protected more than 150,000 infants and millions of adults. New programs include fighting human trafficking, aiding returning veterans plus working on youth educational programs. The 10-year 'BE Safe America' program - launched in partnership with UPS and FEMA - has engaged over 5 million people in practicing safety drills each fall. Among its credits was developing the 'Text First. Talk Second.' PR campaign with First Ladies/Gentlemen in over 18 states.Other landmark programs include the "March to 1 Million" initiative in with Motorola and Verizon; plus a variety of driver safety programs, including ‘SafeTeen America,’ with partners Allstate, Ford, Publix and Pepsico.In November, Safe America is planning a 'Fall Forum,' with UPS, Miller Ingenuity, Dixie Precast and Operation Lifesaver. Safe America will honor Walmart CEO Doug McMillon as the 2020 'CEO of the Year' for limiting availability of weapons to intended active shooters.
