Carries out the planning and managing overall aspects of audit engagements including initial risks and issues assessment, time budgeting, staffing, timing and extent of audit procedures to be performed;• Obtains sufficient understanding on client’s business environment and internal control processes;• Evaluates and assesses design and effectiveness of controls to determine reliance to be placed on such;• Designs and formulates appropriate audit strategy and scope for SOX and statutory audit engagements;• Executes audit procedures especially on more complex audit areas such that sufficient appropriate audit evidence to address the risks of material misstatement will be obtained;• Initiates and leads discussions of relevant and immediate audit findings to client representatives;• Prepares draft correspondences to clients, internal control memorandum, income tax returns and other supplementary reports for filing with respective regulatory agencies;• Reviews and/or assists in the preparation of IFRS financial statements, assesses completeness of disclosures made and accuracy of balances reported, as well as review of SEC filings and tax returns;• Coordinates with other lines of services such as Tax Services and Systems Process Assurance in providing services for the clients; and• Supervises, coaches, and evaluates associate level staffs• Monitors and ensures timely completion of the audit and maintains good working relationship with client.
