Deployed $20 million across 15+ deals with Lotte Ventures, yielding an IRR exceeding 50% - expecting further growth in 2024. Some of my investments yielded returns ranging from 2x to 100x multiple on capital invested(MOIC). With recognition from the company, I've been promoted to Country Director/Head of the U.S. office. As a key man, I was immersed in content-related deals for the past few years while managing the entertainment thematic fund, LOTTE Create fund. Lotte Group's major subsidiaries, such as Cultureworks, Daehong Communication, and Lotte World, invested in the thematic fund, and the fund's diverse portfolio includes original content developers, AR/VR innovators, casual game publishers, and music-tech enterprises. In addition, in my capacity as a key man, I've allocated investments in B2B/B2C software platforms, deep tech, and digital healthcare companies through another data technology-focused fund. Besides my investor role, my responsibility involved developing positive relationships with limited partners, and I achieved this task effortlessly.

I successfully raised and managed two funds totalling $26 million, focusing on seed to series A investments in B2C consumer tech platforms, eSports, and food tech. Beyond financial backing, I provided strategic guidance and mentorship, resulting in some companies, including Wingeat and EJN, achieving a 10x multiple on capital invested(MOIC). I also managed leading consumer tech portfolio companies, including Backpackr, which provides service Idus that connects crafters with consumers; Kmong, which bridges various talents with the market; and Sandbox Networks, which evolved from a kid content creator to a prominent creator management company.

In my internship, I conducted market research, analysed companies including Zig-Zag, Viva Republica (Toss), and 29cm, and prepared investment memos. I gained early-stage venture capital experience, witnessing top-notch investors and successful outcomes, including Zig-Zag's $1 billion acquisition by Kakao, GS Group's acquisition of 29cm, and Viva Republica's transformation into a finance industry major with a valuation over $4 billion.
