I work for JGMS at Los Alamos National Laboratory. The lab is an amazing place and I am incredibly fortunate to work there. The opportunity to work with some of the smartest people in the world is one I don't take lightly. My work here puts me in contact with people working in a wide range of disciplines on many different projects. At LANL every day is a school day and I'm here to learn. I'm proud to represent JGMS' strong safety culture. When our team goes out in the field, our first priority is the safety of its members. Once the safest way to do a task has been established we create a plan to reach our goal as efficiently and accurately as possible. To work at LANL with the conscientious and intelligent team I'm with is a dream come true.

I Started at The Back Door as a sales associate and over the two years I worked there moved up to manager. As the manager I was responsible for recieving consignment, pricicing items, and maintaining accurate daily sales reports. Recieving inventory involved the inspection of incoming items for quality and sellability. After accepting an item I researched similar items and their cost and availability. This research allowed us to price items in a way that was as fair to both our consigners and customers.

I worked as a blacksmith and stained glass artist for Paradise Art Glass for 10 years and am very proud of the quality of work we produced in our small shop. As a blacksmith I learned about heat treatment and how to maintain tight tolerances in a piece when heating and welding would cause warpage and size changes. I started at Paradise Art Glass as labor/assistant and worked up to an artistic collaborator and designer. I adapted artistic designs to fit structural requirements for the pieces. I designed and fabricated metal structures to support large glass pieces, and I designed backlighting designs for installations where no exterior windows were present.
