As a master’s student studying Electrical and Computer Engineering at UIUC, I have taken many challenging courses, especially in AI and robotics. With my strong background and experience working with different robotics solutions, I am confident that I have the skills and experience required to excel in this role.Over the years, I have worked on a variety of robotic projects in school, ranging from designing and building combat robots for clubs, developing complex object-avoiding mobile robots, as well as working with 3-dof and 6-dof robotic arms. Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of robotics principles and have honed my skills in designing, prototyping, testing, and deploying robotics systems.My technical expertise includes proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C, Python, and ROS, as well as experience in developing machine learning and computer vision algorithms for robotics applications. I am confident that I can leverage these skills to deliver cutting-edge robotics solutions. In my previous roles, I worked as a robotic engineer for Monolithic Systems Lab, which was developing a berry-picking mobile robot. Applying machine learning and computer vision principles, I was able to program the robot to perform robust and consistent berry recognition and visual servoing to reach the berry. I am excited about the opportunity to work on cutting-edge robotics projects and contribute to the development of next-generation robotics solutions.
