As a Senior Consumables Supply Executive, my role consists of many responsibilities. My primary role is the management of remote inventory consignment contracts located in the USA, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. To do this effectively, I have to procure smartly, negotiate, strategically plan and decision make and find where I can add value to the contracts. This also means I have to work closely with the customer, dealing with the day to day inquiries and issues in a quick, efficient and professional manner. I analyse stock levels and review historical transactions in search of increasing efficiency and decreasing costs.I set up and take supplier meetings to review performance, share ideas to improve performance and improve contract terms.In addition to my contracts, as a senior member of the department I manage the department whilst the manager is away on business, I manage issues with other contracts, fix technical issues, review department processes to seek improvement and set up new contracts. When doing so, I attend customer meetings abroad to agree on the precise customer requirements and build close relationships so that the contracts can be managed as efficiently as possible; the last meeting of which was in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

2013 saw an exciting part of the AJW Group’s Consumable department’s growth and it was great to be a part of it. As a result of our success and expansion, new recruits were introduced to the team to cope with the increased requirements and as a consequence the department needed restructuring.On the 1st on January 2014 I started my new role of Consumables Team Leader, a challenge I’m relishing. It has taken me away from a sales based role into a management, analysis and project managers role which complements both my degree and interests. My Primary role is the operational management of the Consumables Department at AJ Walter Aviation. As a team, we manage inventory warehouses located across the globe and as Team Leader it is my responsibility to make sure we manage these in the most efficient way possible.I head the department’s projects which have included the design of AJW's barcode scanning App which I've successfully implemented with three customers including easyJet. I have also overhauled how our department produces it's financial accounts as well as renovated the database and it's functionality.Achieving my goals I've had to work closely with the client from contract draft through to inventory implementation, analyse processes and stock to eradicate inefficiencies, procure smartly, prioritise and delegate to team members, project manage from concept to completion and carry out presentations to the board to directors.

After graduating from university, I had an opportunity to work as a Quality Controller on a building site. My attention to detail allowed to me to oversee the project, using my authority accept or decline any work being carried out through all parts of the process. In the final stages of the build, my role moved towards painting and decorating, whilst managing the remaining staff on site.This was a temporary position whilst I focused on seeking a permanent job in my degree and interest related fields of business, IT, sales and marketing.

I was recommended for a temporary four day long position cleansing Webcurl's CRM database. On the fourth day I was offered a part time position in a sales role. I successfully generated business through phone calls, visiting local firms and attending promotional events.As a small firm, my role was flexible and my interest spread to marketing. I often worked helped the design team with ideas and designs.
