• Support initial activations, upgrades, and troubleshooting of the software and hardware deployed to over 250 data acquisition and control systems that enable rocket engine, vehicle, and fluid system testing.• Deploy real-time operating system software and create and maintain LabVIEW GUIs for test systems from P&IDs.• Setup and validate National Instruments DAQ hardware and Allen Bradley PLC systems. • Create, redline, and update ground system test schematics in AutoCAD Electrical.• Responsible for release of activation procedures for production hardware checkouts and software deployments.

• Test engineer responsible for performing fluid pressure and flow tests, implementing process improvements, and maintaining two test facilities.• Collaborate with Responsible Engineers to develop procedures, test plans, and electronic work orders that meet production-level standards to test engine components and assemblies.• Integrate fluid, instrumentation, and control components including flowmeters (Vortex, Ultrasonic, Coriolis, Turbine), pressure transducers, (absolute, differential) thermocouples, RTDs, solenoid valves, flow control valves, electropneumatic regulators, pneumatic valves, centrifugal pumps, etc. into facility and test setups.• Upgrade test facilities by designing P&IDs in AutoCAD, authoring standard operating procedures, completing process hazard analyses (HAZOPs), procuring components, and activating new fluid and electrical systems.
