I am a solicitor specialising in development, social housing, commercial property, planning infrastructure, education and charity law. I mainly deal with development acquisitions for social housing providers but am experienced in all types of commercial property transaction, including the sale and purchase of land and buildings, the granting and taking of leases, shared ownership and open market plot sales and general estate management.I also deal with planning issues including preparing and drafting s.106 agreements and other infrastructure agreements and more general planning matters including preparing for appeals.I also have experience in dealing with charitable property, with particular emphasis on the education sector, such as academies, voluntary and free schools.I have experience in Social Security Law with a particular emphasis on Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit and have presented up to the level of the supreme court.I have also recently become the chair of Chisel, a small registered provider based in South east London.Specialties: Social Housing, Development, Commercial Property, planning, construction, Infrastructure, Charity and Education Law
