As Manager Projects & Supply Chain I am responsible for establishing and running the Project Management and Supply Chain Office. The objective is to ensure all projects are delivered within the agreed scope, time, cost and quality using a ‘best-practice’ Project Delivery Approach.My role is three-fold: firstly, overseeing the portfolio of organisational projects, providing expert knowledge and support and monitoring progress and reporting on the portfolio status. Secondly, managing projects/programmes directly. Finally, the development, introduction and on-going iteration of the organisation’s Project Delivery Approach.

Responsible for completion of the projects on time, in the approved budget and on specs.As Project Manager I aim to provide the most optimum execution of a project. In close contact, with respect and in dialogue, with our clients I seek to understand and anticipate project needs.As Project Manager I oversee all aspects of the project using planning, monitoring and controlling processes. I am responsible for completion of the projects on time, in the approved budget and on specs.I perform a variety of tasks including: • Coordinating all resources; setting deadlines; assigning responsibilities; and monitoring, summarizing and communicating the progress of the project. • Providing leadership by using effective verbal and written communication to manage the client and consultants as well the project team in all phases of the work. This includes developing and motivating teamwork between all parties. • Understanding and implementing general conditions and requirements of the contracts associated with each project and monitoring the contract documents for conformance and execution. • Supervision and monitoring the preparation and reporting of reception / submittal logs, testing and inspection reports, safety inspections and reports, change order logs and other related reports. • Coordinate with Finance Department in negotiating terms and conditions of subcontracts and purchase orders, oversee the execution of the subcontract requirements and manage subcontractor claims. • Organize project meetings and provide leadership and control to ensure that all parties understand their obligations and that they follow through.
