● I was in charge of a 3-analyst team, for management of the own portfolio, daily cash flow, allocation strategic studies (asset allocation) and analysis of new opportunities of investment for all investment segments;● I have implemented and promoted Brazil’s first retirement plan by Defined Contribution featuring hold-to-maturity bonds, with assets of R$ 350 million;● I have optimized current profile investment portfolios through an efficient frontier study (Markowitz) with a proprietary model that takes into account risk, return, duration, stress test and backtest;● I was engaged in creating two new investment profiles with differentiated very short-term and long-term options;● I have negotiated with financial institutions management costs and the performance-based fee for active management;● I have approved along with the Investment Committee the following investment modalities: Structured Investment, Investment Fund on Credit Rights, share rent and investment in specialist funds (valuation funds) within the mandates;● I have continuously focused in developing the Investment team through an incentive program for personal development, with formal goals, training, and courses.

The program consisted in the qualification and certification of professionals and implementation of job rotation;● I have conducted, supported by the Legal team, the accreditation process to CVM (Brazil’s financial market regulator, similar to the SEC in the US), developing new controls, the application of Chinese wall and the technical enhancement of the analytical team;● I have implemented, formalized and coordinated the Entity’s Investment Committee;● I have created a proprietary model for selecting asset managers and have led several selection processes, applying a proprietary questionnaire and due diligence process;● I have drafted and implemented an operational assessment model applicable to the custodian and brokers, with proprietary methodology, defining operational excellence standards;● I have implemented an operational model with role/activity matrix per department for the department’s standardization process and ISO9001 certification for more than 90 percent of the department’s primary processes.

● I have led asset manager selection processes (quantitatively and qualitatively) for Supplemental Retirement Closed Entities, Multi-sponsored Funds and Supplemental Retirement Open Entities;● I have analyzed and validated ALM (Asset/Liability Management) studies, asset evolution, and benefit payment flow matching;● I have developed a DC-type plan population study for adjusting management structure, segment and asset classes;● I have worked closely with consultants in qualitative and quantitative analyses on returns from pension fund’s portfolios/investment funds and performed Manager Research to asset managers;● I have worked for almost one year in the Actuary Department analyzing investment funds and new business development through retirement plans offered by financial institutions (PGBL, VGBL, and FGB).
