About Leonardo C. Fleck

I am Santander Brazil’s Senior Head (MD) of Sustainability, leading the sustainability domain in Brazil. I also help the Santander Group advance its approach to Nature & Biodiversity. I sit at the boards of Biomas, an ecosystem restoration company with the ambition to restore 2M hectares; and at the World Resources Institute, one of the main sustainable development think tanks globally.Passionate about systems transformation, disruption and large scale sustainable impact, and with a ten-year experience in Silicon Valley’s innovation ecosystem, I have a track record of leading organizational growth and building ecosystems that deployed high-impact solutions to global sustainability challenges. I leverage my diverse professional network, including the private sector, governments, civil society, philanthropy, and academia across the US, EU, UK, China, and South America, to foster shared value, collaboration and knowledge exchange.Over the years our work has been recognized in international and national awards, and has been featured in a Harvard case study.
