I am currently an undergraduate research assistant in the Prof. Mark. C. Hersam Research Group. I have been working on identifying and characterizing 2D semiconducting transition metal halides (TMHs) with novel electric and magnetic properties. I have become proficient in glovebox use/maintenance, mechanical exfoliation, photoluminescence/Raman spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy (AFM), atomic layer deposition (ALD), 2D heterostructure assembly, and electrical probing, all while developing an understanding of semiconductor physics.During my tenure, I have been awarded the Northwestern University Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) Summer Undergraduate Research Grant (SURG) and the Northwestern University Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (NU-MRSEC) Undergraduate Research Internship (URI) to fund my research.

I am currently an AV support consultant for Northwestern University Information Technology (NUIT). I answer phone calls regarding AV related issues around the university and take the necessary steps to address the issues in a timely manner. Additionally, I perform weekly maintenance rounds around the university to make sure that the AV equipment is functioning properly.
