How can I summarize myself?My resume tells you what I have accomplished but it doesn’t tell you WHO I am.I would say I am someone who is energetic, passionate, creative, and analytical. When I was a kid I would get bored, so I would blindfold myself and throw paint on a canvas. I would take the blindfold off, see what was there, and then paint a story. This was great for inspiration, but my parents wanted to kill me because I also got paint on the wall.As an adult, I would take a challenge and make it my story and I am not afraid to see where the road takes me. Every day should be a new adventure.I have been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. In fact, I have been the person that executives would rely on to turn things around when we hit a bump in the road, whether it's in general management, operations, sales, account management, human resources, or accounting, I have also been chosen to train people across the country in both English and Spanish. My ability to connect with all my coworkers helps them succeed in their positions in order to help support management in the workplace. Each associate is a piece of a puzzle. Once the puzzle is complete it's something to admire.Now here I am on a totally new adventure. I am not afraid to try new things, in fact, I love applying the knowledge and skills I have acquired in my history in business management to a new field. I also love the new skills I am learning; this will improve "me" in any industry I step into. This current journey is stressful, exciting, and most importantly fun. I look forward to my next adventure because I am the blank canvas and all these skills help fill it in. Let’s see what I can paint.
