I’m a computer engineer and U.S. patent lawyer who thrives at the crossroads of technology, law, and business. I’ve spent years helping companies of all sizes protect their investments in innovation. From startups to Fortune 500 companies like Microsoft and Amazon.com, I’ve helped clients define and implement IP strategies that actually fuel their commercial goals. I don’t just understand complex tech—I grasp how it drives business.I’m also an entrepreneur. I founded an IP law firm and grew the team to about 15 patent lawyers over a decade, ultimately selling it to a national firm. I also co-founded two climate tech startups, driven by a passion for turning innovation into impact. Now, I’m pursuing an MBA to formalize and expand my business knowledge in order to better help companies tackle their broader challenges, not just their IP needs. Oh, and I’m proud to be a fellow in the New Zealand-based Edmund Hillary Fellowship (www.ehf.org), a group of world-class entrepreneurs and investors representing 40 nationalities on a journey to positively impact the world through mission-based projects.
