Software Developer Iii (Serious Games Artist)
Current• Develop large synthetic environments of military bases utilizing Unity 3D, 3D Studio Max, ZBrush, Photoshop, and Substance Painter. Developed buildings, military personnel, vessels, vehicles, and modular props.• Animated, textured, re-rigged, and programmed human and animal models based on references and live showcase, while utilizing IK technology.• Technical Artist and Animator for military character animations and interaction. Animations utilized key animations and in-betweens in order to dynamically and seamless swap from one animation to another.• Mentor Junior 3D modelers and Game Developers, offering constructive feedback and guidance to maintain guidelines, visual goals, and quality of the asset before sending out to delivery.• First line Quality Assurance for Junior Developers, reviewing their models to ensure accuracy, optimization, and proper engine preparation.• Creative Lead for graphic design work. Charged with developing and maintaining the style of art assets and interactivity throughout the lifetime of the project.• Work closely with Art Director and Programmers to conceptualize UI and UX to be both appealing as well as be performant, and scalable for future development.• Utilized version control systems (Team Foundation Server (TFS), and Git) to collaborate with several artists and programmers within projects.
