Architectural Senior Project Manager with duties ranging from direct client coordination, schematic design through construction documentation for a large upscale Spa Resort project in St. George, Utah. Daily coordination with consultants to maintain the project schedule over a large complex with multiple buildings and various functions.

This was a contract assignment for Construction Administration services at the Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino expansion project. The contract required a full time, on-site representative to collaborate closely with the owner and operations team, the contractor (Sundt Construction), and the owner’s representative team (Tynan Group). Project Executive responsible for overall management of all design and construction activities of the casino / hotel resort property.  I worked directly with executive and operations team members to achieve a property that meets their needs currently and is prepared for future expansion. I worked directly with city and county officials to gain approvals and assistance. I worked directly with all utility and regulatory agencies to secure utilities and permits. Performed exhaustive and frequent VE throughout the lifecycle of the projects. Managed all owner provided FFE and OSE. Managed schedules with CMAR and sub-contractors. Coordinated all closeout activities.

30 years into my career, my passion to expand the built environment is unwavering. Having spent the first part of my career designing and managing projects in a wide range of areas, I now prefer to focus in on large scale integrated resorts that include hospitality, gaming, retail, dining and entertainment. Over the past 15 years, I have been involved in many large-scale resort properties in Las Vegas, including the Red Rock Resort Casino and the Cosmopolitan. I have also been immersed into tribal gaming with a variety of award winning projects. I am currently the Project Lead for the new Crown Sri Lanka Resort and Casino in Colombo. In my new role as Regional Director of Operations for Asia, I oversee day to day management of all business and project delivery aspects of our offices in Macau and Singapore.

My architectural project manager duties range from SD through CA on large scale hospitality and gaming projects with compressed schedules. These duties require me to travel often to multiple job sites for CA duties and coordination efforts with owners, operations personnel, consultants and contractors. I serve as the lead administrator for multiple project related Buzzsaw sites, both professional and standard versions. Trained multiple project teams including consultants, General Contractor staff and property owners. Manage data flow including enforcement of procedures. I was recruited to help the company transition from Microstation to AutoCAD Arch Desktop. I lead the effort to established office wide graphics, production and CAD standards. Customization of all AutoCAD applications based upon criteria set forth by the design and production staff. I served as the lead e-Builder administrator, a data management web site for all projects at all properties. Established training sessions for staff members on a variety of subject matter and various user levels.I provided on-site training for consultants and system configuration to comply with MMDG standards. Periodic review of consultant documents to verify compliance with standards. Hardware and software configuration and set-up for all department workstations.Responsible for maintaining the current master plans for all MGM/MIRAGE properties.
