Lauren is a P.Geo at Dillon Consulting Ltd. with five years of experience working on private and public sector environmental projects. Her project responsibilities have included project management and coordination, oversight of contractors, hazardous materials/designated substances sampling and abatement, construction environmental oversight, environmental sampling for air, soil, sediment and water, monitoring well installation and decommissioning, environmental compliance auditing, site surveying, and technical reporting including Records of Site Conditions, and Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. Lauren has completed a variety hazardous materials surveys and associated reports; including on-site material assessment, abatement, and confirmatory sampling for public and private sector clients for materials such as asbestos, mould, lead, mercury, and vermiculite. Additionally, Lauren has experience assisting in the completion of environmental compliance audits and environmental due diligence reviews for commercial and industrial clients. Lauren completed her Masters of Engineering Science at Western University with the RESTORE research group. With RESTORE she worked on a collaborative GIS modelling project with Environment Canada, among others, to create an estimate of the impact of phosphorus nutrient loadings from septic systems in the Lake Erie Basin. Through this project she organized and conducted a field campaign, integrated field and model results, and created a model that established septic loadings for the Ontario Lake Erie Basin.
