I am currently a Technical Claims Consultant. I handle New Jersey workers compensation claims that are ready to settle for permanency. I address the value of the claim, contact the petitioner’s attorney and settle the matter. Previously I was a Senior Claims Consultant. I was responsible for overseeing a team of 4-6 case managers. I was responsible for the daily activity of the team. I help train and mentor team member with regards to their development. Our team handled multiple jurisdictions. They were Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and Kentucky. I am licensed in Rhode Island and Kentucky. I was responsible for maintaining our high premium customers. My largest account was Ashley Furniture, a 20 Million dollar account. I was responsible for weekly meetings to review claims. I was also responsible for quarterly claim reviews. Those reviewed were with corporate contacts with the customer.
