About Leon Barton

Currently working as a Team Lead within the Blades Process Engineering area. This involves the line management of around 12 Engineers including resource management and allocation, personal development plans, stakeholder management, Team output quality overview and the general support for Team MembersPreviously within wind I have been working in various technical roles throughout the Blade design and Processing areas, this included Technical Lead on new technology designs, Design For manufacture within the Shells and Infusion area, defining and owning requirement specifications including repair methodology and all the way back to running manufacturing assembly lines.Before entering the Wind industry I trained and served in the Merchant Navy as a Engineering officer, operating and maintaining various elements of the ships mechanical systems.
