I have developed and operationalized multiple models, mostly in the domain oftime series analysis. One of my algorithms is used to find anomalous patterns in our sales data (€300mln/year). This allows us to closely monitor all the different undercurrents in our sales flows, and immediately take action when a particular undercurrent starts to deviate.Other models include generic forecasting models for internal use, and prospect conversion models to fine-tune the pricing process.I have made my models operational as REST API’s using the Flask framework in a Docker container. I built graphical interfaces for certain models using R-Shiny, also operating on the OpenShift container platform.

For a major customer of Ordina I am developing and teaching a course on the use of Python in the Business Intelligence domain. The course is particularly aimed at people who have some affinity with programming, but don't necessarily have a lot of programming experience.

Together with two colleagues I automated part of the data-gathering process regarding new job openings. This included building a text scraper to automatically extract useful information from HTML files.

Together with a colleague I implemented a predictive model into a QlikView dashboard. The purpose of this model is to calculate the expected debt collection results for issued traffic fines. The model is used by the organisation to operate more efficiently and more effectively.

During this research project I combine measurements on chemical reactions with home-written numerical codes to study the behaviour of aromatic molecules in radiation-rich interstellar gas clouds. Special attention is paid to the catalysis of the formation of H2 by these molecules.
