BIOGRAPHICAL DATALeon Chartarifsky was raised in Mexico City from parents fleeing communism in Europe. From early childhood he showed great interest in painting. He studied the harmony of colors and the vision of space. These studies were instrumental in shaping up his vision of nature and, in doing so, his Imagination to create vibrating and emotional works of art that blend areas of pure texture and color with otherwise still forms of natural objects.Leon Chartarifsky is definitely a pioneer. His talent creates a space that leads to an interpretation of the universe, as forms are pulled and twisted into continuous chromatic bonfire.
