As a Big Brother in the on-site mentoring program I go to my Little Brother's elementary school and mentor to him there by going to the library, reading books, playing board games, watching educational videos, talking about his school work and how his day is going. I help him with his classroom work and his daily school activities. We eat lunch together sometime and I can truly say that my Little and I are having a great time learning new things all the time and that the little time that we share together 1 day a week is lifechanging for both of us and I can't think of anything else I'd rather be doing than helping our youth grow and become upstanding and productive as wrll as successful in Life. The 74th Signal Company was part of a Signal Brigade (Defense Communications System Operations), responsible for five remote microwave (fixed stations) sites, two telephone exchange facilities and one tactical communications center. Was responsible for making sure that these facilities continuously performed within certain standards. The company was responsible for the communications along the backbone of South Korea.Additional duties included: Property Book Officer for a 3.5 million dollar inventory; Dining Facility Officer for three remote dining facilities; Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Officer; and a Class A Agent (Pay Officer) for once a month for a $46,000 payroll. Was also the Supply Officer and Executive Officer, ensuring things ran smoothly in the absence of the commander.
