Trappy Hour Harlem is a weekly party centering black folk in the queer party landscape. Our mission is to reach black queer folks wherever they may be to let them know there is a community here for them. We reach our patrons through email, text, and social media.

As assistant creative director I created collections two times a year for the brand, targeted toward luxury consumers. I created mood boards and gathered inspiration for the season's collection as well as for store displays. Sourced outside companies to create engaging and dynamic displays in the store. I was responsible for styling e-commerce and editorial shoots. Creating content and advertising for online and social media was also a part of my job where I learned the best practices for each outlet.

As production manager my responsibility was to oversee assembly of the collection from start to finish. I sourced trims and fabric from Japan and Italy as well as attended all the major fabric shows in New York. After fabric and trim was received, I worked with the factory to guaranty specs were correct. I created sample request and cutters must for production.

As Administrative Asst. I was responsible for all daily office activities. This included, but was not limited to, ordering office supplies, scheduling appointments, handling incoming and outgoing mail and e-mail. I worked very closely with the Owner/ Head designer in the beginning stages of his business and was a art of the expansion and growth from a midtown office to a SOHO brick and mortar store. The Microsoft suite is what I used daily to keep the office running smoothly. I fully understand the importance of detail and accuracy on the administrative end of a business.

As social media strategist I built Pas Le Mode's online audience. I used Facebook, Instagram, and Tumblr to create customer engagement. This meant working with photographers to create lifestyle images for online content. Built instagram following up to 1,500 followers in 3 months, Over 12,000 reblogs on Tumblr, and created Facebook ads to drive sales and traffic to e-comm site.
