Provides guidance to contracting officer on technical aspects of automated data processing (ADP) equipment and automated systems related to the other IMA equipment, special test and automated products. Utilized the Army Portfolio Management System to identify IT investments/capabilities to maintain Army efficiency/effectiveness in eliminating/consolidating redundant or outdated IT systems capabilities. Analyze contractor proposals and determines those that meet ADP technical requirements. Prepare requests and provide technical specifications for equipment maintenance and property book reporting. Serve as one of the principal advisers on matters relating to security vulnerabilities and threats to computer systems access. Wrote the requirements that dictates the security measures that needs to be followed to protect sensitive and classified information. Authored the manual entitled, Internal Security Policies and Procedure for the Miller Operation Center, which dictates the proper security protocol for individual’s roles and occupations to follow within the G-3 Current Operation Center. Wrote the functional requirements for biometric system which secures the Miller Operations Center, that features finger-print and eye-retina recognition. Established specific written guidelines for the protection of information technology systems and guidance on accreditation procedures and appropriate computer security measures.
