Teaching math skills to active duty military students. Specific responsibilities include planning, organizing, and developing lessons and units of instruction to help students improve functional and academic proficiency; providing math instruction for students in the MASP program at the Base Education facility on Camp Lejeune; monitoring student growth throughout each instructional session; and keeping necessary class records to document student attendance and progress.

Responsible for all actions and activities for a DoD/USSOCOM pre-deployment company evaluationexercise managing cost, schedule, and performance of assigned programs to ensuresuccess. Conducted ground up development by working through the financial departments, humanresources/recruiting, and supporting companies to ensure the customer was provided a high-qualityproduct. Provided financial oversight of time, materials, and expenses, and ensured the program stayedwithin budget and all deliverables were available to the customer on schedule in accordance with theSOW/PWS. Supported all organizational efforts aligned to best facilitate the customer’srequirements.

Acting as a Senior Commander in a partner nation military, conducted key-leader engagements (KLE)with the Marine Raider Battalion (MRB) / Special Operations Task Force (SOTF) and Marine SpecialOperations Company (MSOC) / Advanced Operational Base (AOB) leadership. The BattalionCommander position provides atmospherics, scenario injects, and time-sensitive information to drive thetargeting and operations cycles for the military forces being trained. KLEs inspired to drive individualtrainees towards understanding and relaying battlefield effects of tactical actions to a host nation’s military leadership in relative terms.

Leader of a rogue force intent on regaining stable governance and political legitimacy in a contested areathat has been invaded by a hostile nation-state. Craft and implement tactical direction for up to 30 roleplayers and up to 15 Marines using guidance from daily operational synchronization meetings duringeach training cycle. Supervised and ensured strict adherence to all safety protocols and assess anypotential risks to students. Offered in-role guidance to Individual Training Course (ITC) students and dailyperformance reporting to Marine Cadre and AST Subject Matter Experts (SME).• Responsible for daily accountability of both US Government and Arrow Security & Training LLC.weapons and equipment.• Ensure the health and well-being of all personnel (Active-Duty Military and civilian contractors) involvedin training and exercise scenarios.

Leader and role model for an 8-person team responsible for developing training and educationalpathways for over 3000 personnel that are independently and/or collectively assigned to globallydisparate locations in support of US foreign policy.• Envisioned and authored a policy to address high-risk training that will reduce mishaps by empoweringlower levels of leadership. The policy has subsequently been adopted as the standard example of how toaddress high-risk training across the Department of Defense (DoD).• Translated National and DoD policy into effective training and educational goals, which enabled seniorleadership to set key performance indicators (KPI) and subordinate leadership to balance training andeducational opportunities against the KPIs.• Created a structured career track for ~800 special operations personnel that enables personal andprofessional development through education, formal military schools, and on the job training.

I had the awesome opportunity to train, mentor, and lead two seperate Marine Special Operations Teams (MSOT). Both teams were tasked with developing partner-military forces in support of international security and deployed to the Middle East (Jan-Jul 2016/Jul-Dec 2017). While the primary mission was developing our partners, I spent a large portion of time liaising with the US Embassies and foreign government officials. Developing relationships facilitated mission success for my teams and theirs.

I enlisted to serve in the Infantry (0311) then immediately screened and was selected for the Reconnaissance (0321) community. I graduated the Amphibious Reconnaissance School (ARS) and the Basic Airborne Course in early 2001 before being assigned to 3rd Recon Battalion in Okinawa, Japan. In the summer of 2003, I was transferred to 2d Force Recon Company aboard Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, where I served until 2006. In 2006, the Marine Corps officially became part of the US Special Operations Command with the inception of the Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC), where I faithfully served since.
