About Leon Elman
When I started college, I had no idea what my purpose was. There was hardship, adversity, and numerous struggles along the way; however, when I discovered my purpose, it focused my direction in life. My plan was to get an electrical engineering degree and find a job. To alleviate some financial stress and pressure, I decided joining the service would be the best way to fund my education. Shortly after enlisting, there was a purpose for what I was doing and why I was doing it. Throughout my career, I had the opportunity to mentor individuals, groups, and teams. My military career culminated by serving as the senior advisor for all training and education within my organization. Now, I am driven by a sense of purpose. My goal is to leave everyone and everything I encounter better than when I arrived. I’ve dedicated years to developing the people around me. There is no greater sense of accomplishment than when the people I’ve trained and mentored become the specialists I refer to and rely on.
Listed skills include Military Operations, Military, Operational Planning, National Security, and 17 others.
