At McKinsey, I followed my passion to support clients in the energy sector to manage and shape the energy transition, especially in Germany and Austria – mainly utilities but also engineering companies, TSOs, investors etc. Many of my projects centered around (growth) strategy advice for our clients, but I also ran projects regarding digital innovation.

During my 1-year Social Leave program from McKinsey, I supported Phineo mainly on analyzing and advising social projects as part of large-scale donation programs seeking to maximize social impact. I also consulted DAX companies on corporate volunteering and set up a Ukraine response program.

During this internship I assisted projects in public sector consulting, mostly job centres and social offices.

Based in the regulation unit, I worked on a research project related to excise duties in the European Union. At the same time, I worked on the initiation of a conference series on automation and unemployment.

I worked in the Operations department (Banking) on corporates in Germany and the Baltic countries. For the main part I produced due diligence analyses. I was able to attend many meetings, talk to clients and got insights into every step of the project cycle.
