Paso Robles, California, United States

Retained by Capital Dynamic on Consulting Basis to perform Due Diligence on two Solar Facilities. Was hired as Construction Site Manager for both facilities. One being located near Paso Robles California and the other located near El Centro, California. Duties of Assignment included reviewing Documentation for Permitting Compliance, Ensuring Code Compliance, Making sure that all Design criteria was met and adhered to, OSHA and CAL OSHA guidelines were followed and enforced. Review all Equipment specifications and ensure equipment meets criteria on receipt. Both Projects are to tie in to existing grids adjacent to projects. Review Turn Over Documentation necessary prior to Pre Commissioning and Commissioning. Ensuring that LOTO practices were followed. Coordinate Back-feed and energizing process for Client acceptance.

Amarillo, Tx

Duties of assignment was to be liaison for Owner, Astra Falvex Energy, and Stantec Consulting Ltd. Duties included handling engineering issues created by vendor furnished equipment suppliers, interface issues with Grid Operator, ERCOT, environmental problems, local code requirements, and processing RFI'sw submitted by contractors on site. Helped produce punch lists and organize for turn-over documentation for Owners. Provided insight into resolving issues and reviewing "as built" documents for compliance with scope, specification, and contractual requirements. Attend daily meeting to present solutions and receive RFI's, Change Orders, and produce design change notices.

Silverton, Tx

Duties included overseeing all aspects of installation, to included 100, 3MW Acciona Wind Turbines, 26 miles of access road installation, 390,000 feet of underground collection system, Complete O&M building, Sub-Station for dispatch of power to two different grid operators. Had to ensure that all Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical portions were in compliance with Contractual requirements, as well as being compliant with national codes,regulatory guidelines, and local permitting requirements. Trucking logistics and commissioning requirements were very stringent, and schedule was very important. OSHA Safety compliance was also included in my scope.

Dominican Republic

Hired as Construction Manager for 430 MW power plant, in the Dominican Republic. Assignment consisted of managing all contractors & Engineering done by Wartsila, ABB, & Elicnor to construct the facility. Facility consists of 24 18V50DF Wartsila engines capable of generating 18 MW each. Project, consist of two transmission lines, one going to Barrick's Pueblo Viejo mine in northeastern DR and on to a substation for dispatch to grid. Plant also involves a 7 km HFO pipeline from San Pedro supplying HFO for fueling the engines. Pumping station at port in San Pedro consists of two 400 hp compressors for pushing HFO to storage tanks located at plant site. ABB supplies all material & equipment for dispatch to the transmission lines going to grid and mine. Plant valued at $400,000,000 including land acquisition, rights-of-way and equipment.
