I am a software engineer specialising in web development.I've been making websites since my early teens. Now, professionally, I've worked on everything from an amazon hosted API for a massive iPhone competition to modernising an ancient and partially paper based stock control system. I've put in a few years managing a team that produced e-commerce web applications for multinationals but I've also found a place as a smaller part of a larger team.In my day job, I'm crafting the user experience and building out the infrastructure for competitions, promotions and store fronts that reach millions. In my spare time, I'm publishing Android applications with some success (My latest app, at time of writing, has over 2,000,000 downloads).I have a wealth of experience writing functional PHP, OO PHP and Classic ASP applications on top of MySQL, PostgreSQL and MSSQL databases. My work has included fully WCA standards compliant websites for government contracts, complex OO JavaScript applications and complex server side platforms for international services.I'm interested in anything that will expose me to new technologies and problems. I want to work on big projects that impact lots of people, create new things, and solve new and interesting problems.
