Here, I held full responsibility for all pre-and post-award subcontract functions for Petrofac’s EPC Contract on the Duqm Refinery Project (i.e. LSTK, F/P, reimbursable, rates, consultancy and MSA contracts, strategy, SOPs, QA management, claims management, commercial management, project planning (costs, estimating, budgeting), labor forecasting / requirements and claims management & avoidance. Major clients, projects & accomplishments: ➥ Petrochemical Refinery Project (Oman)  $2.5 Billion USD: Kicked off this project and ensured preliminary work was accomplished. Managed and awarded contracts and subcontracts; hired 18 team members. Improved procedures to accommodate a streamlined, coordinated effort. Changed award process, coordinating and aligning the pre-award and post-award activities to ensure risk management.

Major clients, projects & accomplishments:➥ Sohar Refinery Improvement Project (Suhar, Oman)  $2.2 Billion USD: Managed the EPC contract; helped company develop and improve their procedures. Ensured EPC contractor delivered peak performance. Coordinated with legal counsel to obtain liquidated damages and document claims for project variances. Played key role in evaluation and settlement of a $600M claim whose finalization was approved by the Oman Minister of Finance.
