Technical Project Lead
As the project lead overseeing a team of 17 software engineers, I led the development of a cyber-investigation platform designed to enhance user collaboration and streamline the communication of key findings among investigators. We implemented real-time cursor support and screen broadcasting capabilities to facilitate real-time collaboration. Additionally, we enabled asynchronous work by allowing investigators to leave annotations on graphs and merge their findings seamlessly. To further aid in data interpretation, we implemented a no-code/low-code editor for creating data visualizations of key findings.Responsibilities & Tasks:- Managed the entire development lifecycle, including requirements analysis and elicitation, system design, development, deployment, and project handover to Maltego Technologies GmbH.- Directed key system design decisions such as choice of technology stack (e.g. database solution – Graph database vs. SQL).- Coordinated the integration of highly coupled services across different teams to ensure seamless integration.- Directed the technical implementation of the product using a modern technology stack consisting of React.js, Nest.js, TypeScript, and Memgraph, all while ensuring the system's performance and maintainability.- Successfully presented and delivered the final product to the stakeholders at Maltego Technologies GmbH, overseeing the comprehensive documentation process to provide a solid foundation for the further development of our product.
Project Coordinator, Student Coach
Student Job at the Luxembourg Tech School. The Creative Coding for ALL initiative by the Luxembourg Tech School aims to provide all young people in Luxembourg with equal opportunities to learn the technologies of tomorrow. The project started during Summer 2020 together with the support and mediation of Croix Rouge Luxembourg (LISKO) and was aimed towards refugee children in Luxembourg between the ages of 11 and 16. With very small groups and individual support this initiative aims to empower the children by giving them an introduction into Creative Coding and allowing them to express themselves digitally, all while promoting integration. Each student is provided with a free laptop by LTS, as we realized that access to a computer or laptop is crucial and often missing in this demographic. Providing them with a computer not only allows them to get an introduction into programming but also gives them the chance to catch up on a lot of schoolwork that they missed out on during quarantine and reconnect with their teachers. They will also be able to follow lessons online should there be another lockdown. During the pilot project in Summer 2020, LTS (Student) Coaches went to the respective participants current residents all over Luxembourg to get to know them better, and introduce them to how to use laptops. Afterwards the classes for the several groups were hold twice a week in a combination of online and physical lessons.
