I joined Virgin Active on a temporary basis in order to broaden my skill set and expose myself to a variety of industries. During the time I spent as a Membership Consultant at Virgin Active, I was able to significantly enhance my customer relationship management and telephone and face-to-face sales skills. I received sales training and, in addition to handling all membership enquiries, was responsible for the delivery of a new marketing campaign.

Joined the Deloitte Summer Intern Scheme and was fortunate enough to be able to work in both Audit and Tax for the Energy, Infrastructure and Utilities (EIU) and Global Employer Services (GES) teams respectively. During this 7 week scheme I was able to gain exposure to the daily tasks carried out by members of both teams and was given responsibilities similar to those of a graduate employee.
