As the Operations manager for Candylicious retail stores in South Africa , I oversee the day to day operations of 9 locations within the country . My responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring efficient store operations , maintaining inventory levels, and meeting sales targets. I also collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve overall performance. Additionally I am responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures , as well as maintaining high levels of customers satisfaction. My role requires strong leadership skills , excellent communication abilities and a keen understanding of the retail and confectionary industries.

I started with company as a supervisor then after 6 months I was promoted to be the site manager. As the site manager for Candylicious Time Square Casino my role was to manage a team of about 50 employees, I was responsible for the rostering of employees, ordering stock, training employees on customer service and ensuring maximum profit and minimum waste. I reported to the operations manager and the MD. Some of my other responsibilities were as follows: overseeing the daily operations of the store, casino floor and Sun time Square Arena events. I also trained supervisors and cashiers, motivate and empower a team of 50 employees, basic HR duties, hiring new staff members

As the General manager of an Italian hight-end clothing store in South Africa, I was responsible of running the store entirely on behalf of the owners. My role involved overseeing all aspects of the business including managing staff, controlling inventory and ensuring exceptional customer service. I developed and implemented strategies to drive sales and increase profitability, while also maintaining the store's brand image and reputation. Additionally I was responsible for creating and managing store budgets, analysing sales data, and making strategic decisions to optimise performance . My role required strong leadership skills , a passion of the fashion industry and a commitment to deliver and exceptional shopping experience for the customers.

I was a cashier at movies @ Gold Reef City casino for 9 months. During this period I gained experience on using the point of sale, customer service, problem solving, attention to detail, ability to handle money and also work under pressure.
