Heading up the Business Transformation Design for Customer and Account Origination, Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Queries and Workflow and Imaging for Rest of Africa.Key responsibilities include:• Develop robust Business Designs which are agile, phased and scalable in order for our business to become strongly customer orientated, competitive and significantly profitable.• Ensure alignment of process and business architecture in order to maintain the integrity of the ROA Target Operating Model (TOM).• Specify and quantify business benefit in order to ensure designs add value to the business.• Define metrics as part of business design in order for the business to measure their performance on the new designs• Deliver business design on signature programmes (POWI, KYC, and Business Banking) in order to prioritise against other designs based on capped funding. • Consult to the execution of signature programmes in order to ensure that integrity of the design is met.• Ensure that detailed end-to-end business requirements are done in order to provide guidance for project delivery.• Clearly articulate business requirements to a business field level in order to ensure quick interpretation by project teams.• Ensure business rules are captured with the requirements, to provide information for build and development teams.• Consult to projects on an ongoing basis in order to ensure that the integrity of the design is upheld.• Ensure that the solutions take into account all requirements defined in order to meet the business expectations.• Define budget and resource requirements for business design activity within in the budgetary period.• Communication of Business Transformation focus and progress at relevant forums and conferences (PBB RoA, PBB Operations).

• As a Business Architect I shape the business architecture strategy for Group Ops by using a structured business architecture approach, methodologies and industry standard techniques to:- Capture key architectural views and develop an integrated view of Group Ops.- Align business architecture to the tactical and strategic business goals.- Identify, model and document the strategic, core and support structures and processes of Group Ops.- Describe the primary business functions of Group Ops in the Standard Bank context.- Create and maintain a model of roles, capabilities and business unit structures.- Define the information elements shared between Group Ops and other units in Standard Bank, as well as the relationships between information elements and processes, people and systems.• I analyse the business operations and link different aspects of the business in terms of people, processes and systems.• I construct proposals and recommendations regarding:- Changes to the strategic, core and support structures and processes of Group Ops, as needed to support strategic and operational goals.- Change initiatives that the business unit should perform.- Relevant and timely corrections to the governance structure, business processes, and business information structures.• I provide input into the governance process for the funding, oversight, and realization of business projects• I take a leading role in implementing change/ solutions initiatives

• Led a team of business analysts in implementing an Enterprise Content Management solution for Vehicle and Asset Finance that included a new electronic capture system, workflow system, document management system and new MIS capability. • Designed an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Workflow solution through Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) that could be reused throughout the organisation. • Designed a Proof of Concept (POC) to prove that both Filenet and SAP can be used in one workflow solution using a master-slave architectural concept.
