Main Accountabilities:•Work on a 2/1 FIFO roster day shift at various FMG explorations sites in WA, supervise the drilling rig crew consisting of up to four, delegating duties, coordinating staff as well as managing the daily operations, ensuring daily targets whilst maintaining a safe working operation, adhering to policies and procedures, industry guidelines, compliance requirements and following WHS regulations•Establish and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders to ensure systems are integrated smoothly to meet the organisational goals•Place work / rig orders for consumables, equipment and submit to the maintenance / stores team•Conduct minor / major maintenance repairs, service drill rig and support equipment•Test / tag electrical equipment at site•Safely operate vehicle / equipment, conducting daily pre-start inspections reporting any maintenance issues immediately and tagging out unsafe vehicle / equipment, for a safe working environment•Provide suitable recommendations for process improvement work, build team working relationships, integrity and respect•Perform all tasks to the standards required for the project with a quest for continuous improvement•Assist in hazard reporting, incident investigation for a clear understanding of site emergencies•Prepare and submit daily drilling report, equipment-related paperwork to management•Systematically train and mentor new offsiders through field leadership and classroom instruction by identifying areas of improvement and scout talents and working with the team to promote a safe work culture and positive ethics•Manage the learning environment, analysing results to identify gaps in training needs including conducting comprehensive needs analysis, ensure that training is aligned with performance objectives•Attend pre-starts, JSAs, JHAs, weekly toolbox meetings to actively participate with a strong focus on safety and service delivery•Expand trade knowledge by networking with colleagues

• Working on a 4/2, 2/1 and various other FIFO rosters on day shift at numerous exploration and mine sites in WA, responsible for supervising a crew of up to four Offsiders, delegating duties, coordinating staff as well as managing onsite operations including site planning and preparation and exploration drilling programs and mobilisation between sites to deliver project objectives and meet targets and deadlines, adhering to site-specific safety regulations• Prepared accurate and timely weekly and monthly reports, KPIs, site progress and accomplishments, and internal and external audit reports and submitted to senior management• Closely liaised with the logistics team to arrange necessary tools and equipment for tasks to be completed at site• Presided PSI meetings and audits and conducted comprehensive workplace training, effectively maintaining a highly skilled team and addressing skill gaps or underperformance with training and development initiatives• Conducted weekly safety meetings to ensure the correct application of prescribed safety standards andregulations and facilitated weekly and monthly client meetings to report on KPIs and project progress, maintaining professionalism, integrity and respect
