About Leon Potts
I'm a Compliance Manager at Amey (Complex Facilities) and my role in a nutshell is to make the places you work as safe as possible, whether that's from fire, legionella or asbestos. I work with Facilities Management teams from engineers & caretakers up to account managers/directors, to provide technical guidance, training, audit completion and incident investigations. My background is in FM operations/account management, especially large portfolios & public sector contracts (at one time managing over 300 properties across 5 counties). My focus is on technical compliance, making sure everything is legally and contractually compliant.My passion is coaching and mentoring staff to get them engaged & get the best out of them. I love creating a positive workplace that is diverse & inclusive, so it's no surprise I'm part of Amey's Pride Network, supporting LGBTQ+ colleagues within the business and promoting diversity & inclusion within the construction & property management industry.
