My role at FSIS was chemical manufacturing in the manufacturing process of digital, analogue and medical ink, this involved making the ink from selected raw materials using batch records, safe systems of work and risk assessments to ensure the quality of the product was consistently to a very high standard and repeatable without risk of product failure. Manufacturing the ink consisted of raw material blending of both Solvents and powders, timed additions and temperature monitoring, filtering and ultra-sounding whilst following the batch records and SSW and batch sampling to further insure quality is maintained. My role also at FSIS was in the packaging of the ink Digital, Analogue and medical again using batch records and SSW to ensure the quality of the end product promoting a right first time culture, this included filling the ink into its final receptacle ensuring weight parameters are correct at all times, boxing, labelling, heat/vacuum sealing and palletising. This would then be located in the company’s warehouse to await customer order a role held by the internal / external Runner which i also did which was to run via FLT finished palletised goods to the warehouse whilst also replenishing shop floor consumables.All activities undertaken in a busy factory / warehouse environment and involved the use of heavy and bespoke machinery and a great deal of busy fork lift and personnel movement all while adhering to the company’s strict health and safety policies SSW and Risk Assessments.Reason for departure was redundancy due to the companies decline in production and sales during the pandemic of covid19.

I worked for OFP as a carpenter over a three and half year period, my role here was the complete manufacture and erection of timber framed homes.My responsibilities in the factory was to manufacture quality precision made timber frames homes (external wall / Internal wall / Party wall / Floor Cassettes / open web joists / roofs etc.) working long hours to ensure orders and deliveries were met to maintain our quality and on time track record. As a site fitter my responsibility was to erect our timber framed panels insulating and boarding / pitching pitched and parapet(flat) roofs and snagging with precision and attention to detail with an extremely high quality finish.contract came to an end after closure of part of there buisness.
