People always told me I looked like a programmer. In June 2021, I decided to see if they were right. The initial phase was slow and rough, but it got things moving. After lots of study, a Dev from Belgium believed in my purpose and gave me my first shot. I never imagined I'd start with mobile development (React Native) straight away with zero prior experience.There I was, trying to keep up as we were building software for a digital bank aiming to revolutionize the crypto sector. This mentor was a top-tier developer, super talented, and he instilled in me a desire to always strive for improvement. It was a beautiful challenge, from which I learned two things: to be rigorous and to build software like one constructs buildings, solidly and without patchwork.Next, I was faced with a new challenge. To work at a renowned company in the legal software sector in Brazil. They used Vue3 and Ruby on Rails. Two frameworks I had never touched, one of which was my first deep dive into a language other than Javascript. I took a deep breath and remembered the wise words I once heard: "Not one step backwards, not even to gain momentum". With the support of an amazing and talented team, I managed to learn quickly, overcome challenges one by one, and leave my mark on the legal office management software.In between, I started my degree in Computer Science, influenced by all the incredible Devs I've worked with. Since then, I've been working hard to become the best developer I can be. Laying down, bit by bit, the path towards that.That's pretty much it. Welcome!
