Responsible for the daily setup and running of the store including all back-office tasks. Maintaining a high level of visual and quality standards for all products on display and ensuring that stock levels are monitored and replenished. Delivering on my obligation to ensure the health and safety for both customers and staff on site during all operational hours. Key responsibilities • Regularly monitor the performance of the store throughout the day ensuring productivity targets are met and making staffing adjustments if required • Ensuring a fully comprehensive handover of responsibility for the store takes place at the end/beginning of each shift, detailing any matters of urgency and recommended plans of action • Provide staff members with clear and precise instructions for their daily tasks whilst providing support and guidance where needed • Provide personnel training for new members of staff and assist in the ongoing training of existing team members• Dealing with escalated customer complaints aiming to resolving them quickly and meaningfully while ensuring future avoidance of similar issues• Dealing with any authoritarian bodies such as Health and Safety officers, trading standard etc, understanding the legal implications and responsibilities surrounding such visits • Being solely responsible for large cash amounts and ensuring the correct cash handling procedures are adhered to whilst banking and financial handovers are being preformed• Responsible for the manual ordering of all stock within the store utilising past sales data to guide decisions on order quantities whilst adjusting for seasonal and local abnormalities.
