The Mix is a free, confidential support service for under 25s - making a massive difference to over two million young people in the UK each year.As Head of Services I lead on the organisational strategy for the Mix's 1-1 support services; primarily the Helpline & Counselling Services. I lead on operational delivery, quality assurance and development of services and ensure that all of the Mix's support channels are appropriately staffed and resourced.I am also the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the organisation, I lead on the development of The Mix's safeguarding policy, approach and systems. As part of this I provide first point of contact support to staff, volunteers and beneficiaries of the service and lead the Mix's Safeguarding Team.

Southwark

I am the Manager of Together's Southwark Wellbeing Hub, an innovative service acting as the first point of call for residents/family/friends and professionals experiencing or supporting someone with concerns around their mental wellbeing in LB of southwark.we provide signposting and navigation support linking people to services in their community through daily drop-ins, satellite pop-ups and an online directory of a 1,000 wellbeing services.we provide 12 weeks of practical 1-1 support; a peer support programme offering 1-1, phone and group peer support, using lived experienced to support the development of coping and self-management strategies. we also provide a comprehensive programme of wellbeing workshops in partnership with a range of organisations across southwark and London.i manage a team of 11 staff and 30 volunteers, setting the strategic direction of the service in line with our contract with Southwark Council and the CCG. I am also budget holder for the project and hold overall responsibilty for managing risk for the service.

A Co-opted Governor for New City Primary School. I am the Link Governor with responsibility for monitoring "raising achievement to good" as part of our Post Ofsted Action Plan. This has particular focus on monitoring outcomes for phonics and Higher ability pupils.I am Chair of the Standards & Curriculum Commiitee which monitors the progress and attainment of pupils and the teaching and learning taking place in the school. The committee also has oversight of a range of wellbeing based activities: Safeguarding, behaviour , extra-curricular activities and equality & diversity for the school.

GCU Students' Association exists to represent and enable GCU students to enhance all aspects of their student experience. I am the sole officer for the Students’ Association based on the GCU London campus and manage and deliver all of the Students’ Association services to 300+ Master level and PhD level Students.I set up and manage the following Projects/services:• Advice service: I am the Student Advisor and Harassment Officer providing generic and specialist academic casework.• Democracy and representation: I provide development support for GCU’s student representation. I organise and facilitate the co-production of academic and student services and supporting the development of a range of policies and strategies for the university and Students’ Association.• Student Activities and events: Societies and sports clubs, London Leadership Programme, Volunteering.• Community engagement and partnership working: setting up partnerships with the university and business in the community; partnering with local schools, social enterprises and professional organisations

BowHaven is a unique, user-led mental health charity based in Tower Hamlets. I am Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees and alongside the Chair coordinate and lead the activities of Trustees and the Board towards the charity's charitable aims.I am the lead trustee for Bowhaven’s bid to the Clinical Commissioning Group and Tower Hamlets Council, as part of the Tower Hamlet’s Inspire consortium. I sit on the Consortium's working group/ performance management team.Through the fundraising committee I helped to develop and write the bid for Bowhaven's Equip Project & secure funding for our Arts+ Group.I have also led on the Board of Trustees Governance and Strategic Development. I have done this through the development of bespoke governance/charity audits, skills audits and training/recruitment plan and the development of new Committees, ToR and Compliance Calendar.
