Currently working in Operations department in charge of the overall project planning and development of offshore operations, I am also the focal point for the offshore personnel relating to any issues with equipment including changes to procedures or operations which could have a detrimental affect on the running of our equipment. OPITO approved assessor, this entails assessing and training key offshore personnel to ensure a minimum standard is achieved so that the client receives the best service. Sampling of previous evidence from assessments carried out ensures a fair approach to all key personnel, Being in charge of the project delivery requires that all equipment meets Contractual Delivery Dates (CDD) the client has stipulated, the equipment also has to meet any QC standards required by the client which could just be having a Third party inspector check over the equipment before mobilisation. Completion of the Surface wellhead Spaceout with Mudline suspension requires working with Imperial (2 decimal places over 500+/-) and Metric (3 decimal places over 150+/-), working with a range of 5" to +/- 2.5" or 8" range to +/- 4". At my time in the Technical role I have attended various client meetings onshore, meeting the client on weekly basis to ensure that all expectations are met and the project is delivered to highest standards achievable.
