After receiving my grammar school diploma in 1990 I have held several functions within the theatre -, television-, multimedia -, B2B - the amusement parks- and museum world.In 1990, I started as a project manager and director of the Wordt Vervolgd Clubdagen, a popular theatre show for children based on the television program with the same name which I also produced. In 1993 I switched to the new area of interactive media, where I produced a series of CD-i titles, among others a CD-i about astrology for the consumer market under the title `It’s in the stars’, after the television program with the same name.In 1995, I returned to television as a production leader. In total I realized over 400 television programs for the Dutch and German market.From 1998 until 2006 I worked at Wennekes multimedia. Combining my theatrical, interactive and AV-experience I realized several (interactive and electromechanical) exhibits and attractions for amusement parks and museums, among others for the museum `Escher in het Paleis' in The Hague and the amusement parks `de Efteling ' in Kaatsheuvel and `Huis ten Bosch’ close to Nagasaki, Japan. The attractions range from motion rides to virtual reality experiences and were all edutainment productions, combining education and entertainment.In March 2006 I started working for Hypsos. As an account manager I'm responsible for acquisition and project execution for projects in museums, science centres and information centres.I have realized a.o. permanent and temporary exhibitions for the Stedelijk Museum Breda, the fit-out of the Visitor Centre of Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia, fit-out elements for the Rotterdam Port Experience (a.o. dancing fountain, chromakey studio) and was responsible for all AV solutions in the exhibition The Olympic Journey and the Dutch Maritime Museum.My special interest: Guided tours at Auschwitz.
