Co-work with product design and plant team to improve product manufacturing capability. Work as the stamping CoE (Center of excellence) member, drive technical and operational issues related to manufacturing, to ensure effective closure of all issues to enable operational success of the entire product introduction into mass production. Work closely with the suppliers to provide technical & manufacturing direction to guarantee their ability to meet TE design, test and quality requirements. Work closely with the cross functional team in the development of new tooling processes, equipment, and technical support (TPM, Test, SQE, EPM, etc)Also: (1). Ensure stamping die designed are capable of producing good quality products efficiently and effectively at the lowest possible cost. (2). Ensure projects are completed on time and handed over to Operations upon First Article approval complete with documentation(3). Establish Die Design Rules and Standardization (4). Enhance CAD / CAE / CAM application Develop multi strip stamping process to release some product from assembly line for better output and manufacturing cost. From year 2003 to 2012, completed more than 30 sets die design and the assembly and most of them were put into mass production. Contains many types of products such as high-speed connector, BTB product (Future Bus/Hard Metirc)/ I/O product (SFP Connector) etc. Develop a new structure for high speed stamping die, it reached SPM 1100 successfully which the high level in this business.
