Also led traffic plan meetings and permit negotiations with Town officials. • Established strong relations and a positive reputation with municipality officials in the coordination of joint projects and the preparation of polyethylene (PE) natural gas distribution pipelines in the Stellarton and New Glasgow area.• Assisted in the resolution of a claim for domestic house water issue as a result of the pipeline installation.• Aided in land negotiations on cross-country pipelines when an engineering solution was needed to justify the alignment of the pipeline. -

Responsible for providing engineering administration and implementation of the geotechnical surveying and clearing of the 120km Halifax lateral. Maintaining strong relations with stakeholders, municipal, provincial and federal regulatory agencies, including utilities, in Nova Scotia. Selected Accomplishments• Collaborated in the design and implementation of a pyritic slate construction response plan.• Coordinated with the Town of Stewiacke to develop the Stewiacke River watershed protection and emergency response plan with respect to the pipeline crossing.• Increased revenue through the effective preparation of tender documents, resulting in awarded contracts for the company.• Appointed construction manager; directed, coordinated and implemented dig-ups of the Halifax NPS 12 steel transmission main across eight separate locations while in service.• Oversaw the inspection of the clearing and construction of the Halifax lateral; completed the final alignment including the coordination of lands, environment and engineering groups to achieve project success.• Headed a team including land agents, environmentalists, and land owners to establish a pipeline route that would be acceptable to all parties.
