I manage North American infrastructure people and projects. As Network Team leader, I manage a team of Network Engineers and an MSP, implement a worldwide network strategy, ensure technical knowledge, and help solve problems. I manage the Data Center Team, directing two team members and one MSP. My role is to create a global data center strategy, develop team technical skills, and help solve problems. I supervise two people in the North America Project Management Team. I set defined goals and assign projects to ensure project deliverables are met. Lastly, I guide and encourage the team to establish effective strategies for overcoming obstacles.• I demonstrated leadership to the Physical Infrastructure Team, including monitoring a team of over twenty members and physical servers across various sites, and maintained and upgraded servers as required.Senior Systems EngineerI was responsible for overseeing the maintenance and improvement of data centers, which included the implementation of additional storage capacity. Additionally, I ensured that the VMware environment remained current and up-to-date. I delivered initial support for phone system requirements and oversaw the team responsible for managing servers and data centers in North America. I configured and managed cloud infrastructure, specifically in Azure, AWS, and Google services.• I implemented Microsoft-standard operating system upgrades, centralized server and file storage to data center facilities, and upheld global standards encompassing hardware, Active Directory, email, and Office365.• I orchestrated the migration from an on-site Shoretel PBX to a Teams Phone System.Server/Network Administrator & IT Coordinator• I streamlined processes, ensuring the retention of user knowledge, and adeptly maintain Active Directory.• I displayed a strong capability in maintaining and deploying both virtual and physical servers and oversaw VMware systems and NetApp storage solutions.
